Power is an 8(a) woman-owned business with numerous federal clients and a variety of contract structures. We received our 8(a) status in May 2003 and have an exit date of May 30, 2012. (Case No. 109487) Power has also been certified by the Nevada Unified Certification Program as a woman-owned business enterprise and a disadvantaged business enterprise (Certificate Number NV00590UCPN) and the Woman and Minority Business Enterprise Clearinghouse as woman-owned business enterprise (VON: 21S00008).
Power has been granted an Interim Secret Facility Clearance by the Department of Defense.
Power also has strategic ties to other companies that enable us to put together teams and partnering relationships in order to bid on larger and more diverse projects. Power is currently a participant in the DOD Mentor-Protégé Program and is proud to be associated with SAIC (Science Applications International Corporation) in this program. This alliance enables Power to bid with SAIC, and its other proteges, on larger projects and to expand into areas beyond our existing boundaries.

Power currently has contracts with numerous federal agencies and prime contractors. The form and nature of the services provided is extremely diverse and demonstrates Power’s ability to provide customized solutions that address a client’s specific needs. Below is a partial listing of Power’s federal clients. References and phone numbers are available upon request.
Department of Energy – Office of Civilian Radioactive Waste Management, Yucca Mountain Project. This contract has a base of 24 months with three one year options. Power provides access control, armed security guards, production of identification badges and the maintenance of all electronic and hard documents related thereto.
Department of Defense – Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas, Nevada. This contract has a base of 14 months with four one year option periods. Power provides complete project management for all on-base telecommunications and PBX services, handling all in-coming and out-going calls from Nellis to DoD facilities worldwide.
Department of Interior – Bureau of Land Management. This is a series of contracts to provide five high-level management personnel to the Bureau, including the Manager of Capital Improvement Projects. Power recruited and placed these individuals who operate under the direct supervision of Bureau personnel.
Department of Justice – Federal Courthouse, Las Vegas Nevada and Office of US Attorney. We have several contracts with the Department of Justice; three separate contracts to provide professional HR support to the Office of the U.S. Attorney in Las Vegas and Portland, OR two-year contract to provide library support services to both the Federal Courthouse Library and the Bankruptcy Library pursuant to a regularly established weekly schedule and as needed when work loads increase.
National Guard, North Carolina – This is contract for one year with the Guard’s Joint Forces Headquarters in Raleigh, with four one-year option periods. Power is required to provide for the production of ID badges for guardsmen and their dependents, record management for all badge information in both electronic and hard copy format, and to provide assistance to guardsmen and their dependents who may have questions concerning healthcare coverage.
Bechtel/SAIC - Yucca Mountain Project. This is a two year contract to provide administrative and technical support to the prime contractor with the Department of Energy for the Yucca Mountain project. Power provides everything from administrative assistants to technical writers and graphic artists as needed by the prime on short and long term projects.
Bechtel Nevada – Nevada Test Site. This was a two year contract to provide administrative and technical support to the prime contractor to the Department of Energy for the Nevada Test Site. Bechtel was recently replaced by Northrup Grumman as the prime contractor on this contract. The contract required these positions be filled at the prime’s administrative offices in North Las Vegas as well as the Nevada Test Site, which is approximately 90 miles from Las Vegas. Along with administrative support the contract also required that Power provide technical writers, graphic artists and text processors.
Internal Revenue Service, Department of Veteran’s Affairs, Federal Bureau of Prisons – Power provides on-going administrative support to these agencies as requested and provided various specialized classroom instructors to the federal prison located on Nellis Air Force Base prior to its closure in late 2005.

Power is interested in responding to proposals issued by the federal government as the prime contractor as well as participating with other contractors through joint ventures, sub-contracts and/or teaming agreements.
