Power Services began operations in 1997 as a fully integrated staffing agency, providing permanent and temporary staff augmentation in a wide range of job categories; from laborers and food and beverage convention workers to attorneys and accountants.  In addition to recruitment and placement, Power provided executive recruitment and placement of top-level executives to its clients, as well as a list of non-traditional services, including the drafting and implementation of Human Resource policies and procedures, training, leasing, and payroll services.  All employees were required to take and pass a drug test and a criminal background check and were tested and evaluated for their knowledge and experience in various software applications. 

Although Power has now moved beyond the confines of a traditional staffing company and into the realm of project and contract management, the lessons Power learned during its early days of operation remain a part of our Company culture.  Our employees are our most valuable asset and we take every precaution to ensure that the right candidate is placed in the right position. Drug testing, background checks and skills evaluation and testing are still a requirement for all new hires.  Excellent performance is rewarded with a generous benefits package, merit increases and bonus programs that assist us in our retention efforts.

Power still believes in accountability to its clients and this requires building a personal relationship with those people who place orders and supervise our employees.  Regular and on-going communication between the client and the account manager is essential to the smooth operation of any contract.  Regular “quality calls” are still performed weekly, even on employees who have been on the same assignment for years.  Power continues to offer its clients a 100% satisfaction guarantee; if the client is not satisfied with an applicant, for any reason whatsoever, we do not expect them to pay.  This guarantee also applies to our permanent placements. 

Power continues to provide these services to a list of long-standing clients who have remained loyal to us over the years. Among this list of clients is Clark County, the City of North Las Vegas, McCarran International Airport, the Las Vegas Valley Water District, the University of Nevada at Las Vegas, the Community College of Southern Nevada, Sierra Health Services/Health Plan of Nevada, Richmond American Homes, Harrah’s Entertainment and the Boyd Group.
